How It All Started

When Kevin was younger, he LOVED chocolate. On his first birthday he got a chocolate cake - and stuck his face flat in it.

Later, he would save his candy wrappers, keeping the most special ones in a shoebox. On his college application, he felt it was important to use half a page to create a collage of these wrappers. (He was accepted.)

Life later took Kevin - or Kevbot - to serving in the Peace Corps in Guatemala among small farmers, and then throughout Central America working for Sustainable Harvest International. Kevin was fascinated by cacao in its raw, growing form, and humbled by the people who gave life to it.

Kevbot Chocolate was born later, in the mountains of West Virginia, where Kevin makes his home. Kevin believes that great chocolate not only delights and nourishes you, but the communities it comes from.

Kevbot Chocolate is mountain made, the product of many hands. And all yours.
